Student working to better Flint and the world through engineering, co-op with NASA: Angad Mehrotra had two goals when he chose to attend Kettering University. First, he wanted to create unique opportunities for himself that would also expand the scope of Kettering’s collective co-op reach. New Student Services Center allows students to get answers to many questions in one place: A new Student Services Center in the Sunset Room in the Campus Center will make it easier for students to complete administrative tasks related to their enrollment at Kettering University. The Student Services Center will open on Monday, January 12, and will be operational from noon-2 p.m., Monday-Friday of the winter 2015 term. Read more.
Industrial Engineering faculty member featured in Fast Company: Dr. Justin Young, faculty member in the Department of Industrial Engineering, was featured in a story on Fast Company's Co.Exist site. The story, entitled "Meet the man who's figuring out the ergonomics of the office of the future," examines work Young and his team are doing in Kettering University's Ergonomics Lab. Read more.

First father-daughter duo inducted into Robot Society: An almost identical silver key hung on the bottom edge of each of their silky red lanyards. The size of the key covered their lungs with the tip of the jagged edges approaching their navels. If the key was this big then the door which it opened must be grand. The only difference between their attire was the result of a transaction between father and daughter - the passing down of Tim Allison’s ‘82 Robot pendant that now hung around Amy Allison’s neck. “T Allison ‘81” was engraved on the back of the pendant and Amy has lived up to the heirloom by being inducted into the Robot Society on December 10, 2014.
