“But by the time I graduated, I’d already spent two-and-a-half years in the work environment, so I was better prepared than students who came from more conventional schools.”
Kettering University will be participating in the 2015 North American International Auto Show at the COBO Center in Detroit from January 17-25, 2015.
Kettering’s interactive exhibit will be in Hall E, directly across from the Innovation Track. All prospective students and families, alumni, current students, faculty, staff and anyone else interested in learning more about Kettering is welcome to visit. The exhibit will feature three student SAE team competition vehicles -- a clean snowmobile, a baja car and a formula car.
Kettering’s rich automotive tradition resulted in it being named one of the best schools for students aspiring to work in the auto industry by Automobile Magazine in December 2014.
Kettering's SAE competition teams will exhibit vehicles at the North American International Auto Show.
“It’s a pretty intense, rigorous program,” says Mike Hurley, a grad and now GM vehicle dynamics engineer in Automobile Magazine. “But by the time I graduated, I’d already spent two-and-a-half years in the work environment, so I was better prepared than students who came from more conventional schools.”
