Stanley is a Flint Native. He graduated from Flint Hamady in 2009. After attaining a few associate degrees from Mott Community College he decided to explore the field of Engineering. In 2012, Stanley enrolled as a student at Kettering University. While there he Co-oped for General Motors and Eaton Aerospace. During his Junior year at KU Stan was introduced to the world of Ergonomics. He enjoyed ergo so much that he spent his final co-op term working on campus as a research assistant under Dr. Justin Young. The research the two of them conducted was published and improved Digital Human Modeling software used by companies such as Ford and General Motors. Stanley obtained his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Statistics. In December of 2016, General Motors hired Stanley as a Lead Program Ergonomist supporting their most lucrative platform, Full-Sized SUVs. After 6.5 years of various roles and responsibilities within GM, Stanley decided it was time to return home to Flint and introduce students to a world "Kettering Built". He now serves as an Associate Director of Admission supporting the Genesee county territory.
