VEX Robotics

In the VEX Competitions, teams of students are tasked with designing and building a robot to play against other teams from around the world in a game based engineering challenge.

Classroom STEM concepts are put to the test on the playing field as students learn lifelong skills in teamwork, leadership, communications and more. Use this year’s VEX game to design, build and program a robot to have a competition on the last day.

Program Fee: $400 ($90 discount if you bring your own kit). Cost includes supplies and a free t-shirt. Please provide a packed lunch (we have a refrigerator) for your student each day. Some scholarships are available on a need basis.

Grades: 6-12

Additional Details: The Summer Day Camps take place at the Robotics Community Center at Kettering University. Students can be dropped off no more than 15 minutes before class and picked up no later than 15 minutes after class.
