Paul Bascobert

Paul Bascobert was appointed president of Reuters News in September 2022. Bascobert’s first challenge was leading the move of Reuters.com content behind a paywall, which was completed in January 2023. Bascobert’s publishing and media experience includes executive roles at Gannet, Bloomberg LP, and Dow Jones. He is also an entrepreneur, having founded Vertex Partners (merged with Braun Consulting in 1998) and Blue Ocean Acquisition Corp.
