Kettering University will recognize 41 students June 16, at its annual Academic Honors Awards event.
President’s Medalists, Sobey Scholars, students graduating summa cum laude, the Outstanding Thesis recipient and the undergraduate commencement speaker will receive their awards during a banquet, honoring 2022-2023 graduates, at Durant-Dort Factory One in Flint.
“The students we honor represent the very best and brightest of Kettering University,” said University President Dr. Robert K. McMahan. “They are easily characterized by vision, courage, persistence and leadership. These remarkable individuals are poised to create the future and no doubt make an indelible mark on it and their communities.”
The undergraduate commencement speaker, Emma Gabriele Mucciante (’22, Chemical Engineering), was selected by a committee of faculty and staff in a highly competitive process.
