“Students with an interest in business or STEM subjects will be pleased with the offerings of Kettering University, which has a focus not just on those disciplines, but in fostering the next generation of industry leaders.”
The Princeton Review has named Kettering University as one of the best 387 Colleges in the United States for 2022.
The list, which is in its 30th year, is based on responses from more than 140,000 students.
“It’s no surprise our students value our Co-op program and the knowledge they gain from their on-the-job training,” said Tracie Jones, Kettering University’s Interim Vice President of Enrollment and Co-op. “Their work experience combined with what they learn in the classroom sets them up for successful careers from the time they graduate.”
Some of the University highlights for students are Kettering’s Co-op program and amount of student activities available. The Co-op program allows students to alternate academic, on-campus terms attending classes with on-site work experience at one of more than 400 partner organizations and companies. This unique advantage earned by Kettering students instantly arms them with a bachelor’s degree and 2 ½ years of professional experience when they graduate.
Students also touted the ability to earn money to pay for school while making industry connections, as well as the fact that “there is a club for anything and everything.”
“Students with an interest in business or STEM subjects will be pleased with the offerings of Kettering University, which has a focus not just on those disciplines, but in fostering the next generation of industry leaders,” the report stated.
In addition to the Princeton Review’s recognition, the College Gazette recently listed Kettering as the No. 1 Automotive Engineering School in the nation, and the U.S. News & World Report listed Kettering as the No. 12 best college in the Midwest with the No. 13 best undergraduate engineering program at schools without a doctorate program in the nation.
