The Delphi Electrical/Electronic Division received the 2017 Charles F. Kettering Award for distinguished service and leadership as an employer in the field of cooperative education and internships. The award was presented at the Cooperative Education and Internship Association conference in Denver.
Venetia Petteway, program director for cooperative education at Kettering University, nominated Delphi for the award. Delphi has been an integral partner of Kettering since 1994 and currently employs 30 undergraduate students through the co-op program.
“Delphi goes above and beyond to provide Kettering students with engaging and challenging learning experiences,” Petteway said. “I’m elated to see Delphi receive national recognition for their efforts to support our cooperative education model by equipping future engineers with opportunities to learn, innovate and excel in their respected fields.”
