Representatives from ADVICS North America, Inc., were joined by Kettering University President Stan Liberty and ADVICS co-op students Oct. 13 to install the company's logo on Kettering's "Wall of Fame" in the Great Court of the Campus Center.
The Wall of Fame features logos of Kettering corporate partners who provide the real world work experience component of the one-of-a-kind Kettering Engineering co-op education. Students rotate three-month academic terms with three-month cooperative work terms year-round. Upon graduation, students have a four year Engineering degree and more than two years professional work experience.
ADVICS has been a Kettering corporate partner for 1.5 years and employs three co-op students at its Plymouth, Mich., site. ADVICS is a multi-national corporation committed to the development of cutting-edge brake systems for the automotive industry using state-of-the-art electronics.
