Thirty-seven students earned Kettering University’s highest academic honors as part of the institution’s annual Honors Academic Awards.
Due to COVID-19 and local/state regulations, the University was unable to hold the 2020 ceremony honoring the 2019-2020 graduates. President’s Medalists, Sobey Scholars, students graduating summa cum laude, the Outstanding Thesis awardee and the undergraduate commencement speaker received their awards last year. They were celebrated at noon, June 18 during a luncheon with Kettering staff, faculty, leadership, and family.
The undergraduate commencement speaker, Emily Joelle Poirier, (‘20, ME) was selected by a committee of faculty and staff in a highly competitive process.
