Make a difference during your senior year. For the Business Consulting Project capstone project, you’ll partner with a non-profit organization to assist local underserved communities. Use your knowledge and skills to consult on the organization’s social, environmental and economic challenges. Analyze complex issues and develop strategic solutions to address the consulting partner's needs firsthand. More than just a final project, your capstone bridges academics with high-impact work, creating tangible value as you make a positive societal impact.

During your final year, you’ll also tackle your senior thesis, the most popular of which is the Business Plan Thesis. In this project, you create an entrepreneurial venture concept of new products, processes, methods and markets to develop. Work directly with a faculty advisor and Kettering University Small Business Development Center to prepare a commercially viable business plan.

Combine management smarts with technical brilliance to succeed in our digital economy. Kettering's bachelor’s in management degree program opens doors across industries seeking innovative problem solvers and resourceful leaders. From automotive to renewable energy, industries seek business leaders who blend strategic management skills with technical prowess.

For example, you can analyze and coordinate an organization’s supply chain as a logistician. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) projects the employment of logisticians to grow 18 percent through 2032 and reports their median pay was $79,400 in 2023.

Or, you can identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency across an organization as a management analyst. The BLS forecasts management analyst roles to grow 10 percent through 2032 and reports median pay was $99,410 in 2023.

Kettering’s Bachelor of Science in Management program is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
