Kettering University’s VEX Robotics program propels students toward bold futures in engineering and STEM. High school students dive into engineering via camps, competitions, and workshops, while our VEX U team competes globally, achieving back-to-back World Championship appearances.

Our Commitment to VEX Robotics
- Hosting VEX camps and workshops since 2015
- Connecting with high school VEX robotics teams, building a pipeline to Kettering University and STEM careers
- Championing Kettering’s VEX U team, which launched in 2023
- Supporting local VEX competitions in partnership with the Robotics Education and Competition (REC) Foundation
- Hosting VEX State Championships since 2022, with future events planned for 2025 and 2026

VEX Robotics Competitions
Since 2022, Kettering has proudly sponsored and hosted the VEX State Championship. In 2024, nearly 400 students from 80 teams competed for a chance to advance to the VEX World Championships.
VEX U Robotics
Launched in 2023, KUdos, our VEX U team, uses advanced technology from 3D printing to computer-aided design (CAD). KUdos reached the VEX World Championship events in 2023 and 2024, where the team won the Build Award.
Summer Robotics Camps
Jump into the action at our camps, where you’ll team up with Kettering’s students and staff. Assemble robots, build new parts, explore drone technology, and develop the STEM skills you need to be ahead of your peers.
