What You'll Learn as a Computer Science Minor

The Computer Science minor is a robust yet flexible program. Taking it provides you with critical computational skills and the flexibility of selecting any two computer science courses for electives, including Artificial Intelligence, Introduction to Cybersecurity, Elements of Game Design, Database Systems, and more. This minor can accompany any major to match your desired career path.

The program requires 24 credit hours in the areas of computing and algorithms, and discrete mathematics.

Your in-class experiences are further enhanced with hands-on project work in our various labs, including digital systems, embedded systems, computer networks, computer security, virtual reality, logic systems, parallel computing, and mobile robotics.
