Two Kettering University students from the Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Department have been awarded scholarships from the Material Handling Education Foundation (MHEFI) for the 2020-21 academic year.
Sterling Heights, Mich., native, Emily Branthoover (right), Senior 1 Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering student, has been selected to receive the $5,000 Rack Manufacturers Institute Honor Scholarship, sponsored by ASG Services, LLC. Emily does her co- op with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in Auburn Hills.
Chelsea Wright (left), Junior 1 and Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering student from Kingston, Jamaica, received the $2,500 Onge Company Honor Scholarship. Chelsea currently does research on campus, and her last Co-op position was at MacArthur Corporation in Grand Blanc.
