Dr. King will relate to her experience in “staying ahead of the game”.  She will describe her philosophy, brief history of her attempts at developing pre-budding industry relevant topics for teaching and research, Starting late 2000's, Dr. King drew parallels linking manufacturing to Healthcare. Surprised? She will show her work on Robotic Surgical Skin Closure and her work with the students in the new course Healthcare Systems Engineering.  They worked with McLaren Family Medicine Residency Center on streamlining clinical lab order processing.  Staying Ahead requires Game Changing ideas executed at the Right Time. What will she do to achieve that after retirement?  You will see! Stay active!
