In our Applied Optics minor program, you will study the fundamental properties of light and its interaction with matter.

Your coursework will include 16 credit hours in vibration, photonics and optoelectronics, microscopy and spectrometry and optics lab.

Along the way, you will discover how this knowledge will enhance your marketability in career fields such as physics, research, microscopy, optical design, engineering and software design.
