Why did you choose Kettering University?

"I selected Kettering because of the wonderful opportunity to gain experience in my field of study, knowledge in my field of study, and to be a step ahead of my peers."

What are the five best things about Kettering?

  1. The co-op experience
  2. The network of friends you can build for the future
  3. Free t-shirts and food
  4. The clubs and organization diversity on campus
  5. The education recieved throughout the years at Kettering that go beyond the walls of your major

What was your coolest co-op assignment?

I was given five work days to create Job Element Sheets, or shutdown procedures, for over 240 machines. The Job Element Sheets were comprised of pictures of the machines and the buttons to press to shut each one down, along with instructions and safety precautions. It felt really good to get a 'well done' at the end of the week from my boss, my boss' boss and the plant manager."

What advice would you give to students considering Kettering University?

"You only get one choice for your college education, and Kettering is the best choice for engineering and business majors because the opportunities that exist at Kettering surpass anything that any other college could ever hope to offer."
