The Value of Your Education

Your education is one of the most important investments you will ever make. It pays back many times throughout your career. Kettering University offers you a return on investment that sets the path for a successful future.

Year after year, Kettering is ranked as one of the very best universities in the country for return on investment and career preparation. In our unique approach to cooperative education you will rotate between rigorous, hands-on academics and deep, meaningful professional co-op experiences during your entire time at the University. And when you graduate, you will be way ahead … with a degree from one of the nation’s finest universities plus 2.5 years of professional experience on your resume.

Covid-19 has affected families in many ways, including loss of employment.  The US Government allows us to process a Professional Judgment to update the FAFSA  to reflect your current situation.

On average, students earn $45,000 - $70,000 over the course of the program

of Freshmen awarded aid.

Take the next step and explore what it costs to invest in a Kettering University education.

Fixed Rate Tuition

Kettering University offers a fixed-tuition guarantee for all undergraduate students, the first Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) university in Michigan and one of only a handful in the nation to offer the cost-saving guarantee.

The Kettering fixed-tuition plan means that college costs for the entire program are predictable, instead of getting a year-by-year peek at the increasing costs of higher education.

Financial Aid Eligibility

Applying for federal student aid is quicker and easier than ever. You can complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. Even if you think you’re not likely to qualify for need-based aid, it’s still a good idea to apply.

Many scholarships awarded by the university require applicants to apply for need-based aid. Applying is free and many students are pleasantly surprised when they discover the aid they are eligible to receive.

Earn By Doing

Wages earned as a result of co-op or an experiential learning experience can be used to off-set the cost of your education. On average, students earn $40,000 - $65,000 over the course of the program ($10,000-$14,000 average yearly earnings). Those dollars are above and beyond any merit scholarship, need-based aid or other financial assistance you may receive.
