The focus at the archives is to preserve and provide access to the history of Kettering University, the automotive industry, and Flint. Instrumental in the establishment of the Kettering/GMI Alumni Foundation Collection of Industrial History in 1974, Richard Scharchburg taught at the university for more than 35 years. Following his death in 2000, his collection was named in his honor.
The Kettering University Archives is located on the first floor of the Campus Center at Kettering University and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. For information about accessing and using the archives, see our Archives Usage Guide.
