Minor in Acoustics Curriculum
Students who wish to earn a minor in Acoustics and have it designated on their transcript must successfully complete four courses (16 credits) as listed below. Only one of these courses may also count towards the requirements of a student's major or another minor. This minor is not available to Applied Physics majors (they can take a concentration in acoustics).

Concentration in Acoustics for Applied Physics Majors
Applied Physics majors who wish to pursue a concentration in Acoustics and have it designated on their transcript, must complete all the requirements for the Acoustics Minor as listed above with one addition: their research project for PHYS-498, Senior Research must be an acoustics project. In addition, the Applied Physics electives which count towards their degree cannot be used to complete the concentration.View the official Kettering Catalog.
