2008 Sessions:

Session 1: June 16—June 20, 2008
9th and 10th Graders
(Must have completed 8th grade by June 2008)

Session 2: June 23-June 27, 2008
11th and 12th Graders
(Must have completed 10th grade by June 2008)

 

Students will have fun exploring:

  • How fuel cells work.
  • The different ways of powering fuel cells.
  • How fuel cells can be used to power homes, cars and buses.
  • How to build a fuel cell car and wind turbine from a kit (take home project).
  • How solar, hydro and wind power can be used.
  • Careers in sustainable energy.
