Information Technology is rapidly changing the fundamental structure of business on a global scale. Professionals who understand the strategic value of IT within their organization can create a competitive advantage in their industry. This program will prepare graduates to help shape the 21st century organization in a globally-competitive, rapidly-changing, technologically-sophisticated environment. This educational investment offers a mix of technology, management and strategy courses to provide students with a body of knowledge needed to transform their organizations as well as their careers. This program does not have a thesis option.

Students entering this program must have completed courses in specified areas. Students without this background must demonstrate knowledge in these key areas by passing an appropriate Kettering University exam or by completing some or all prerequisite courses.
Prerequisites
(4 credit hours) ACCT-518 Accounting/Financial Concepts
(2 credit hours) MGMT-550 Management Concepts & Applications
(2 credit hours) MRKT-570 Marketing Concepts & Applications
Additionally, students must have either two (2) courses in undergraduate programming or six (6) months of professional experience as a programmer.*
* Students without this background must demonstrate knowledge in this area by either passing an appropriate Kettering exam, or by completing courses or seminars in this area. Any student who wishes to take the proficiency exam to test out of a prerequisite requirement will be charged $30.00 for each test taken.
