The Distinguished Faculty Speaker Series continues on Thursday, January 31st with Dr. Homayun Navaz from the Mechanical Engineering department presenting Research Interest in Strategic Defense.
"A research pathway that is composed of SWOT (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis, initiation, and sustainability will be presented. This methodology has been used to solicit, compete, win, complete, and sustain research in many different disciplines of national interest and concern. Some of the work will be presented in the areas of aerospace, propulsion, missile defense systems, energy efficiency, and chemical agent threats."
All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend, and lunch will be served to the first 100 people.
