Glen Holcomb - Artistic Director and Instructor
Voice, Early Childhood Music (certified), FSPA Saturday School Coordinator: Master of Music (vocal performance) and Master of Arts (American Culture Studies), Bowling Green State University; Bachelor of Music (vocal performance and general history) from Marygrove College in Detroit, MI. He is the recipient of numerous awards in vocal competition throughout his academic career. He has performed with Michigan Opera Theatre, Detroit Symphony, Grand Rapids Symphony, Brazeal Dennard Chorale, Hostia and the Flint Jubilee Singers. He regularly performs a variety of recitals in Metro Detroit and Flint. Member, National Association of Teachers of Singing and a “Performing Member” of the “St. Cecilia Society.”
Ina Yoon - Artistic Accompanist and Instructor
Piano: Ina was born in South Korea. After winning first prize in numerous piano competitions in Korea, including the Korean News Paper Performing Arts Competition and the Education Music Competition in Kyung Nam, she has been an active performing artist in Korea and the United States. Alongside being a concert pianist in her early years, Ms. Yoon earned a Bachelor’s degree in music from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master’s degree from the Ohio State University. She has studied with prominent pianists such as Louis Nagel, Steven Glaser, and Panayis Lyras. She is in the final stages of earning her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Michigan State University. Currently, Ina teaches at the Flint Institute of the Performing Arts and she is a member of “Davanti Trio” which is a chamber music ensemble in residence with the Flint Symphony Orchestra and the Flint Institute of the Performing Arts supported and funded by a generous chamber music endowment.

Courtney Simpson - Photography Instructor
Courtney Simpson holds a BFA from the University of Michigan. She exhibits regionally as both photographer and installation artist. She works as a freelance photographer and is the Assistant to the Curator at the FIA.
