A unique and exciting aspect of being a student at Kettering is taking part in the paid cooperative education program, a requirement for graduation.  As a student you will gain nearly two years of paid cooperative work experience, a vital experience which will immediately and competitively set you apart from other recent engineering graduates resulting in an exceptional spring board into a competitive and lucrative career field. 

For co-op employers, the benefits of employing a Kettering Chemical Engineering co-op student are numerous, our students come from a stable, consistent, and proven cooperative education program at the University.  Our students are responsible, bright, and mature, and progressively gain relevant and useful hands on experience in many of Kettering University’s laboratory and lecture courses.  Our program runs simultaneously with many corporate fiscal quarters and can provide a stable year-round work force.
